Their site/server isn't really down at the moment, but very, very slow, and with a new story: "glPopMail is ready for testing and feedback".
So be patient while loading..
EDIT: Ooops, I spoke too soon:
Unfortunately, an error has occurred rendering this page. Please try again later.

hmm...
Bluehost can be slow but it looks like the dns record is broken or something.
I bought a whole 2 years of bluehost package but have hardly used it due to the speed issue, it's a great service but sometimes 1 minute page loads are too long

Yet another site outage compliments of BlueHost. What used to be a great service has really gone down hill a lot recently. Their site admins are working on it and who know how long it will take.....I have no doubt we will be making a move sooner rather than later.....
Thanks!
Mark

I know hosting with other providers can be a pain in the arse, because you have to not only pay a monthly charge for it, but you have to deal with outages and equipment problems. I myself host my own and know exactly whats going on at all times. Sure the initial outlay for equipment is there, but atleast you know that your going to be up and can fix any issues that come up too. This was the primary reason I decided to not go with a hosting company, besides cost.
Now a days you can even get business connections to your home and run your servers from there to save money and still have access to a high speed internet connection. This is what I am doing right now. All off of 3 servers and play machines for the other family members.
So the options are there...just have to look into them.

And this is the option I am considering sticking with, just upgrade what I have and stick with it,
as you say, at least you know what you've got and you can keep a tight ship.
my setup ....3 servers
1 web
1 mail
1 Asterisk
16 web sites (mostly Charity & non profit)
1,000's of e.mails a day
no real outages in 4 years...

Mark, I can host your site over on psek where I host my accounts if you want. You may have other special needs though - but let me know if your interested and we can discuss. I have had excellent service from Psek and have been using them for over 3 years. Customer service and uptime has been excellent.

Blaine, thanks for the offer! Right now I'm working with the BlueHost folks and they promise to resolve my issues. I think it is only fair to give them the chance. If things don't work out, I may be knocking on your door :shakehands:
Thanks!
Mark
