Check the permissions. The events probably don't have the "E" checkbox set for the group access. There's the $_CONF['default_permissions_event'] setting in config.php to set the defaults for that box (since you're on 1.4.0 - in 1.4.1, the calendar is a plugin and has its own config file).
And, of course, the events need to be owned by a group that the Calendar Admins are in. That should normally be the case, though - new events default to being owned by the "Calendar Admin" group.

i have configured the permission in this mode
$_CONF['default_permissions_event'] = array (3, 3, 3, 3);
but if I (i'm admin) promote an event, this event is own for the ROOT group. After thas a event admin don't modify this event !!
it' possible to change owner for this event in, EVENT ADMIN
???

You mean when you approve a user-submitted event (from admin/moderation.php)? I need to check this - it may be a bug.

Someone who's a member of the Root group (you, for example) would need to change the group ownership. You'd have to edit all those events.

I think because the geeklog engine it's different
That's what the config.php option is for now (it didn't exist when that other post was made).

I couldn't test it with 1.4.0, but in 1.3.11, approved events are indeed owned by the Root group. In 1.4.1, they are owned by the Calendar Admin group, so this has since been fixed.
I'd suggest that when you are going to approve an event, you click on the edit icon instead, fix the group ownership and save it from there.
