I have browsed thru all forum posts and i still have one big missunderstanding about how to upgrade geeklog. I‚m running now gl 1.04.osr5 and would like to go to gl 1.41 , i figured out thing in upgrade manual but there is one thing that i dont get. I have noticed that all posts, pictures, topics, texts, everything is in geeklog folders. In upgrade instructions its written to lets say rename original folder , instal fresh new version in new folder and copy back original files. Ok i know how to do that , but what about articles, pics, and all other things that stayed in old geeklog folder. If i get it right will be emty new version after upgrade.
Can somebody put some light on this question since i dont want to mess up my site doing something that i dont understand.
Thanx

The articles, comments, users, etc. are kept in the database, so removing the files won't remove them. You're right about the images, of course. That part of the instructions should probably be clarified.
