Hello,
I have a large (~100+ albums/5k photos) GL embedded Gallery1 collection that users of my site have uploaded over time.
I want to upgrade that to Gallery2, but want to preserve the album ownership as much as possible.
This part of the upgrade seems to fall in the cracks between Geeklog, Gallery and the GLBridge plugin.
Has anyone discovered how or what I would need to do to ensure that most if not all albums got imported with the proper ownership? Do I need to hack the Gallery1DataParser class and other parts of G2 to cause this to happen on import, and/or preload G2 database with users?
Any ideas here? I'd really appreciate any guidance from people who have done this already. I be happy to summarize the solution and hand off to G2Bridge for inclusion in that install doc...
Thanks!!
-Jeff

Actually Gallery(1&2) is responsible for all gallery item ownerships, not Geeklog or the bridge.
G2's Migrate module would be the place to check.
