Hello to all...I have several Geeklog sites. Some years ago, I paid someone to link my sites together so that when I enter info on one site, it appears on all three sites. He made it so that [
unitedstates-america.net [*1] had the same info as
inan [*2] and so forth.
I am interested in making some changes by adding another site to that situation and want
bloomwhereyoureplanted [*3] to be part of this web ring. Now, can anyone explain to me simply, how to do this? I will need to know on which page to make changes and simply how to do it.
It would seem a simple thing such as "pointing a domain"...Yes?
I look forward to hearing from some geeklog guru and thank you in advance.

Are you using cpanel? Do you administer the domains yourself?

You are going to have to go look at the config.php files. When you go to http://www.site1.example/index.php and click on a story entered in site2, does the URL become
http://www.site1.example/article.php?sid=abcde or http://www.site2.example/article.php?sid=abcde
Are all the user accounts on all sites identical?
If everything is identical then I would expect the config.php simple adjusts the $_CONF['site_url'] and $_CONF['site_admin_url'] variables based on the value of $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'].
