Subject: Calendar Event Additions

I have a question/request. On the Day view of the calendar, as a calendar admin, the startdate/time and enddate/time default to the current day. How can I change this to automatically enter the startdate/enddate of the DAY I clicked on to start the event submittion? AND Where is the quick submit option for Admins? These would really help, thanks.
