I have just received a note from a user who says mail from our site is being tagged as phishing.
Just to add spice to life I am now getting warning messages suggesting that
your site is a phishing site. I am sure it's not but I am advised by the
warning message from Microsoft not to supply any personal information.
Your comments would be appreciated.

I have spoken to Microsoft and after they saw the complete emails (registration) they say as the header does not conform with standards ??? it is flagged as a phishing mail. All I can see is the server name appears which is not the same as the site domain. I did actually try changing the two to the same domain and the user tried again with the same result.
I have my settings in config set to sendmail - do you think I would be better served using mail.

Can you switch to SMTP? That usually seems to get the best results (i.e. is the least likely to be flagged as spam - or phishing, I guess).
Email setups aren't exactly my speciality, but I would imagine other web applications would run into the same problem, so you may want to try to do a web search for recommended sendmail setups.
