I just tried to upgrade a geeklog 1.4.0 installation to 1.4.1. Modified config.php, uploaded all the files, unzipped etc. Ran the upgrade database command from admin/install.php which showed no errors but then showed
Unfortunately, an error has occurred rendering this page. Please try again later.
. The page address was admin/success.php if that helps.
Now all pages of the site show this message.
I turned on rootdebug true but the 3 log files all just contain
*** dummy entry ***
I'm stumped so any ideas would be much appreciated.
Thanks
James

James,
Usually when this happens to me it is because I forgot to edit the lib-custom.php file and set the path to my config.php.
Thanks!

I'm not quite sure what you mean here.
As far as I know the original lib-custom.php was untouched from the default install. Looking through lib-custom I only see 2 references to config.php and neither seems to be related as far as I can tell (mention custion menu elements and custom registration)
Any help much appreciated
James

Mark meant lib-common.php. Search for config.php in that.

Thanks for all the help. You were right.
For anyone else stuck experiencing this in the future there's a line in lib-common
require_once( '/path/to/geeklog/config.php' );
that needs to be changed to the disc location of config.php.
Again thanks for all the help
James
