Total Calendar v2.4
Geeklog v.1.3.11sr2
I am trying to install Total Calendar into my GL installation. According to the included instruction, I am just to copy the files into a folder into the plugins directory. Then all I am supposed to do is go to the plugins admin page and enable the Total Calendar module/plugin. At that point I can start the install.
I have copied the files over into ..../plugins/TotalCalendar/ but I can't get it to show up on the plugin admin page to be enabled.
Has anyone else successfully installed this add-on? ....and if so, how?

Total Calendar? I've never heard of such a Geeklog plugin....isn't that a PHP Nuke plugin??
If it's not a proper Geeklog plugin you'll never be able to see anything of it in the plugin admin page.

It's a commercial product that supports Geeklog integration. I have posted in their forums as well but wanted to see in anyone here has had any encounters with it.

Glad that you've got it work.
Total Calendar is not a genuine Geeklog plugin. The author just made it automatically detect Geeklog. If found, it would use Geeklog's user database and wrap itself in Geeklog. Virtually, no configuration or installation process needed. All you need is just to drop the Total Calendar directory in the public_html, and it's there. Very smart!
You must be the one I saw at the Total Calendar forum?!

It was fully automatic for me. I just moved the directories in place and wham! It utilizes my user tables, wrapped in GL to be visually appealing, easy to use. I just had to spend 2-3 minutes customizing and I was done. I love it. Worth the $35. I think I am going to get multiple licenses and use it on all my sites.
Sam, that was me on the Total Calendar forum. Thanks for the input in both forums....it's what got me on the right track and up and running.
