I've read up on installing GL in the root dir. I just want confirmation of a few details.
Now, do we put ALL of these public_html files & dirs in our public root dir?

lib-common

And in a private, password-protected dir we place these non-public_html files & dirs?

And I edit config to point to the root dir? I know Dirk told me to read the install txt but it gave an error about the lib-common. So what else do I edit?

I got this error now.
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/w/h/e/wheelsot/html/lib-common.php:11288) in /home/content/w/h/e/wheelsot/html/lib-common.php on line 1621

Make sure you didn't put any spaces outside the code pairs in config.php:
//stuff
?>
^^ There can't be any trailing spaces here.
Or you can read the
FAQ[*1] entitled "Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by ..." by going to the FAQ link under support on the left menu of this website.

Might this be in libcommon.php? For some reason this file keeps unformatting on saves causing whitespace. Not in config.php though. I use notepad.

Ah it is libcommon. Is this file formatted differently than other php's? I need a better editor like I saw on another thread.
