Sorry, Dirk, I've been a real P.I.T.A. today. What started as an upgrade is rapidly turning into a major site overhaul.
My question here is, what is the line in the css which determines the font color for selections in the drop down menus? My fonts are generally white, and since the background in the dropdowns is white, the options are currently invisible.
Thanks for all your help.

From the Professional theme's style.css:
select {
color:#000000;
font:82% Tahoma,verdana,helvetica,arial,sans-serif
}
Kind of obvious, considering dropdowns are created with the HTML SELECT tag ...
bye, Dirk

I would have thought so, but modifying that didn't fix the problem. Is there anywhere else it could be over ridden from?

Gaah, never mind, n00b mistake. I was ftp'ing to the root as opposed to the layout/professional folder.
