Hello Again. I have spent an hour looking through the search items on how and where to change the top header block to another color- (white). 'Not there as I could find but maybe I did not type in the right words.. I used background, website colors, themes.
I did find this comment:
Background color - depends on which one and where. In the Professional theme, for example, the white backgorund is set in the stylesheet.
But what would happen to me is that I would get to the stylesheet and there would be a million code numbers, letters, options and sequences and I'd be back to...
And also, how i could make background color changes to the site?
So, could you please be more specific:
1. Where to go to change the color of the top header block from blue to white.
2. Exactly what line to make the change . 3. Exactly what file name. eg. css or header.ththml or....????
This would help greatly. Thanks-again!
Its in the style sheet, which for your site is:
http://www.nans.us/layout/professional/style.css
Go down to where you find this:
.header-logobg-container-inner {
background:#6D8CB3;
border-bottom:1px solid #6D8CB3
}
and change the background from 6D8CB3 to FFFFFF
I forgot, you will also need to change the font color for the site slogan since it is white and won't show up on a white background. You can find that in the style sheet also:
.site-slogan {
color:#FFF;
background:transparent;
}
Change the color to #000000 or whatever else you would like.
