just updated my site and i get this error:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home/puro/public_html/lib-common.php on line 4687
can someone help me out. i didn't change anything on the file.

Wrong file. That looks like the contents of Apache's error_log - I'd like to see what's in Geeklog's error.log file: /path/to/geeklog/logs/error.log

Apache's error log and geeklog's error file are two different things... that i understand. here is the location of where i am getting the info:

Make sure you've updated the lib-common.php, i.e. that you use the new one. When installing an upgrade, it's important that you replace all the files.

"header_tid" is a new field in the syndication table in 1.4.0. Did you run the install script in upgrade mode?
