Hey Guys,
You ever have anything like this happen?: I put an image in place of the geeklog logo on my site, and I increased the size in the header.thtml file, and I thought all wal well. Then I visited the site using IE6, and the image has a grey block of text around it!
Check it out, it's weird! www.administratorsadvantage.com
Thanks for any help on the issue!

One of the many bugs IE has is image rendering. I don't have IE on my computer so I can't see the problem. If your specified height and width are the same as the image and you specify border padding and margin all zero, it should display as expected. Sometimes, odd things happen in tables in IE when the line breaks in the source are in a certain place, but it's been so long since I've used tables I can't remember what exactly triggers the bug.
If it continues, you can just remove the table and put in a div.

IE doesn't support 32-bit PNG images with alpha transparency. You'll have to save your logo as 8-bit or I think there are javascript hacks out there to make it work with IE.
Here is an old post on this topic:

And this page talks more about it.
