There's nothing magic about this. Most of the information displayed on that page is sent by your browser by default anyway and there's code out there to map your IP address to a country. Then simply stick that in a PHP block, a static page, or a plugin ...

I don't see a need to have something like that in Geeklog's core code. This is perfect for a plugin / add-on, IMO.

i think this too also ..
any way dirk , you have to give the Statistics more care in your developments
geeklog is powerful but it need Kind of perceptible visibility
like information about visitors , DataBase information , ability in integration with most of popular PHP software ...

I see Geeklog's stats page as a nice bonus, nothing more. If you want proper statistics (if there even is such a thing ...) use one of the many available logfile analyzers (AWStats, Analog, etc.).
