The theme is sorta loading. The back ground is there (but vvvvvvvery small in size - this is suppose to be the white pointer theme), and there is a logo.png ... but none of the table elements are rendering. You can see the site
here[*1] . The "images/" directory is in it's default location. Ideas, suggestions, etc on how to fix this are welcome. Thanks.

Welp ... 28 views and no replies ... gives the impression others are experiencing similar issues or are searching similar threads with image/theme issues ... eh ... I think I've decided to not pursue this any further at this time. A theme isn't worth this much time, must move on. Should someone know the solution I'd still be interested.

I read your post and looked at your site, however I have no insight as to why the images would appear so oddly.
You offer no information about your hosting environment are you on a shared host or hosting yourself?
maybe one of the files is corrupt? CSS, header.thtml etc...
never seen that one before ...

I only see the Professional theme at that site - you probably forgot to change the default theme.
Also, the Geeklog topic icon is corrupted: http://www.evmechanic.net/images/topics/topic_gl.gif
I would assume you had some upload issues, which would explain some of the problems you describe. Make sure to upload images in binary mode.

Btw, I don't think Googlebot cares a lot about your problems Don't trust those counters too much.

welp ... it appears the png's supplied do not like to be loaded for some reason. I stuck a random gif ... renamed it logo.png and it loaded it (distorted, but it did load it - spacial limits are constrained in the code). When viewed on the local machine the pngs are ok ... but once loaded onto the server they do not render properly.

I had the same problem long ago.......but I believe it could be a permissions problem for you image directory. My server is on a mac G4. Once I fixed the permissions for certain themes I dowloaded all was fixed. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion ... I confirmed the permissions are the same as the other folders; if it is a file corruption issue than it appears to be inconsistant when it comes to the white pointer theme. I've reuploaded via binary transfer all the public_html files to hedge my bets, along with the white pointer theme - the professional theme launches now without any issue, but white pointer is still messed up (I've tried it several times without effect).

Reloading the graphiic files via binary transfer solved the professional theme, but had no effect on the whitepointer. I'll try another theme to see if the same is true.
