Forum Subject: Links listing in search does not redirect

So if you go to eshirtlabs.com[*1] and you do a search for skateboard for instance, you get a list of links as well as stories and static pages as expected.

The problem is that if you click on any of the outgoing links you are just taken back to the main links listings not to the site you wanted to go to.

I have repaired the DB, I have updated the search folder in the theme I am lost on what could be causing this.

Any tips gents?

Yep, that's a bug in the Links plugin in 1.4.0. The links should be routed through portal.php.

In the plugin's functions.inc, around line 423, it should read

    $linkUrl = COM_buildURL ($_CONF['site_url']
                             . '/links/portal.php?what=link&item='
                             . $A['lid']);
