Hi!
I am interested in having an image validation when somebody register like on rapidshare.
How it works:
An image is randomly generated which shows some letters and numbers. The user needs to enter them in one field. It is quite easy for the users, but a spambot cannot read an image.
Has anyone ever tried this in geeklog? Is there such a hack?

I was about to ask you "what about blind people?" but with the recent sleeper accounts, looks like e-mail authorization is not enough (read: image validation should ADD to it - not replace it!).
So try
Simple GL Captcha (
image[*1] - why wasn't this image uploaded to said link?) and report back what you think.
Or be the first one who implemented
QuickCaptcha[*2] in Geeklog and came back to tell us about it (although it's so unreadable I think it's equally meant to defeat human beings).

I will try Simple GL Captcha because the other one is hard to read
"What about blind people"
This page I am administrating is a page for an enemy territory (an egoshooter)
community. I dont think any blind people will take part in it.
