Usually there's no problem. But if I turn on PHP, it means I want plaintext mode...in other words, it's impossible to work on PHP with an HTML editor - not to mention that it killed all of my line breaks...
So basically, choosing PHP should be like choosing plaintext for stories.

Have you checked out this line
in fckconfig.js
// FCKConfig.ProtectedSource.Add( //g ) ; // PHP style server side
code
I have not messed with it, but it looks promising, tell me if it works

Doesn't help, but why should it? The PHP in staticpages is something internal (even when I use internal opening/closing tags).
My only solution is to comment out "var oFCKeditor1" and its parameters.
But then I lose FCKeditor for normal staticpages too.
All I'm saying is that someone should add a command that when someone chooses PHP, the editor should close - yes, just like choosing plaintext in stories!

It is responisble for enabling/disabling this. There is something wrong with it anyway, 'cause I tried to use script tag and no luck whatsoever.

The problem is that the first thing doesn't work. I mean // FCKConfig.ProtectedSource.Add( //g ) ; // PHP style server side
code.
Why should you get rid of FCK as PHP editor? It gives you nice coloring of lines, etc.
The problem is that this doesn't want to play nicely with Geeklog or we're missing something

That's only something I can imagine. Right now, if it's enabled, it treats the PHP like HTML and that's why I need it off.

Looks like we need 2 static page editor templates, default is with FCK editor, and if you enable PHP it switches to the old plain text editor.
