I have $_CONF['advanced_editor'] = true; in config.php
but I don't see the FCKeditor anywhere on my page?
How can I check the FCKeditor?

It should now be visibile in the story editor if edting or creating a story in html mode. It's also enabled for the staticpage editor.

I had this problem
I finally traced it down to my theme...
If you're having this problem with 1.4.0b1 installed, set your theme to professional and see if that cures your issue.

Hey hey hey This is it!
It's the theme. Its not easy to modify a team from geeklog 1.3 to 1.4
At least the editor is here now !! TADA
Missing is the second row, it shows up in "full window" mode
I hope I have enough time to modify also the Post a comment.
It would be nice to have editor everywhere.

I have finnally found the missing lines.
in header.thml it needs
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="{css_url}" title="{theme}">
{feed_url}
{plg_headercode}
{advanced_editor}
<script type="text/javascript">
function delconfirm()
{
if (confirm("Do you really want to delete this item?"))
{
return true;
} else {
return false;
}
}
</script>
</head>
This loads the editor on every page. Does it make Geeklog slower because of this?
Does somebody know how to change the fckeditor to
two button rows?
The toolbars are defined in the public_html/fckeditor/fckconfig.js files.
You will see examples of Toolbar options which have more then 1 row of toolbar icons.
