Hi everyone,
I'm totally new to Geeklog and am trying to test out the plugins and generally how easy everything is to use.
Well, immediate problem. I download a zipped file, then when I try to open it I get an error message:
"error processing header after reading 0 entries"
what??
Anyone have any idea?

Try downloading the file again (possibly using another browser) or try another application to unpack it.
And if that doesn't help, tell us which file it is ...

Hi,
thanks for responding so quickly.
I'm afraid I only have one browser, IE, and Winzip. I tried that and also uploaded straight through my CPanel and decompressed the zipped file there.
I tried inmemorium and Media Gallery 0.83. I downloaded and unzipped each one three times.

Anyone with other ideas????
I would really love to give Geeklog a fair try, but without plugins, it's no use to me.

Well, I'm pretty sure the files are okay, so the problem must be on your end. See above ...

I have had the same problem. Just change file extension to .tar.gz then everything works O.K.
For some unknown reason the file extensions are always wrong.

Absolutely correct. I have always had to rename the file after downloading it in order for it to unzip properly using WinZip.
