Hi,
I just updated geeklog code from CVS, and ran the installer and upgraded my DB to v1.3.12, and I've managed to completely hose my site.
I'm seeing loadds of errors like this in the apache error log:

Well the paths are all wrong unless you host your site in a folder named main-CVS and I doubt that. Look at the paths in your config or lib-common maybe.

Actually, those are only warning messages, not errors and most of them seem to come from the file management plugin.
Did you change something in the error reporting on your site (i.e. in the php.ini)?
bye, Dirk

Dirk,
I turned on E_ALL when my site broke to see if I could see any more errors - I currently just get a blank page.
The URL is http://robinbowes.com (it's currently disabled).

Actually, it is. My home page geeklog install is in /home/apache/robinbowes.com/geeklog/live which is a symlink to main-CVS.

OK,
I've turned on mysql logging and am just getting the following query repeated endlessly in the logs:
1 Query SELECT filename FROM gl_syndication WHERE header_tid=''
1 Query SELECT filename FROM gl_syndication WHERE header_tid=''
1 Query SELECT filename FROM gl_syndication WHERE header_tid=''
1 Query SELECT filename FROM gl_syndication WHERE header_tid=''

Any idea how to fix this?

I can't find that SQL statement anywhere in the current CVS version I have on my development machine. and I re-wrote the syndication in CVS that statement isn't familiar. Try and find out what is executing that command.

I assume it's from the File Management plugin.

Fancy having a look, Dirk?

Well, I'm embarrassed to report that I've found the problem.
My config.php had a conflict with the CVS version and the CVS markes (>>>>> around part of it.
All fixed and well now.
