Hi all,
I had a corrupt lib-common.php file so I downloaded a new one. Once uploaded the site is fine but my plug-ins are now not working. I have weather and gallery 1.5. Both times i get the following errors:
'Warning: main(classes/timer.class.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mwaus/public_html/cms/lib-common.php on line 159
Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'classes/timer.class.php' (include_path=':.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/mwaus/public_html/cms/lib-common.php on line 159
'
It sounds like a path problem but I have checked and my config.php and lib-common.php are both in the same directory and all pathes seem right.
What could be wrong?

Is the version of lib-common.php the same as the version of your installed Geeklog?

actually a closer look:
lib-common version is:
$Id: lib-common.php,v 1.408 2004/12/29 08:43:37 dhaun Exp $
config:
$Id: config.php,v 1.148 2004/12/31 10:33:31 dhaun Exp $
Not sure if they are conflicting versions now??? When I downloaded they were 1.3.11 for both - I thought.

actually got it worked out. How embarrassment mate was wrong path. Didnt have full absolute path included. My fault.
Huhh all those times I have read posts from people that seemed like it was an obvious installation error and someone was just being lazy and not reading documentation fully, so just relying on poor old Dirk and friends and I go and do the same thing.
Sorry ll but thanks beewee you got me thinking more clearly....

Something similar happened to me a few days ago as well....and it was only about the 10th time I installed GL...but why did you install GL in a public directory? Only the files in the public_html directory should be placed there, the rest should be in /home/mwaus/
