I'm looking a plugin to allow my users to write their own blog. I found the journal plugin but it's very old, and has no all the features I wish.
Features are :
- allow user to create personal blog
- authorization preference : public / semi public / private
- bbcode and/or html support
- image uploading
- categories management
- publishing inside and/or outside geeklog
- comments support
- search engine support
- etc.
So Journal can't do that currently, but maybe I can take it and add features... or I can a simple blog system like mybloggie, dotclear or other and integrate it in geeklog.. or again use the story geeklog feature and hack it to allow to each user to publish their own story in their "journal".
What do you think about all of that ? Is there any other solution I don't think about ? Or even, maybe do you know a plugin like that ?

Something to add to the list.
-Install to different direcory
-Top menu label variable.
-Block to list users blogs.
I adapted the Journal for 2 of the 3 above. Users already can create a personal blog. (Public / Private)
You can see it on this site
