This really isn't a big deal, but, I was wondering if it was possible to have it so that all new user registrations must be approved by Admin before the user can have their account activated? I thought there was an option to set this but for whatever reason, I cannot seem to find it.

Look for this section in config.php
// Submission Settings
// enable (set to 1) or disable (set to 0) submission queues:
$_CONF['storysubmission'] = 1;
$_CONF['linksubmission'] = 1;
$_CONF['eventsubmission'] = 1;
$_CONF['usersubmission'] = 0; // 1 = new users must be approved
specifically the last line.
And don't forget the
Docs[*1] .

I tried doing that, but it automatically shows them in the user list, doesn't send them a password email or any thing though.
Is there a way to approve them that I am missing?

Click on the "Submissions" link in the "Admins Only" block, and you should then see "User Submissions" where you can Delete or Approve the user.

it won't send them a password if you have it set to be approved first. You approve them in the admin control panel in the "Submissions" link. Once you approve them, they will use their password that they created when they created the account.
