There is a approximately 25px gap after the introtext and bodytext, even though there is no such gap at the top. It's happening to all themes, so I guess it is part of the story core code, and I couldn't find where it is.
It looks like an empty line after the story text, which makes "Read More" link a little further from the end of the introtext, that could cause novice reader to miss the readmore link.
Can someone help me figure out where in the codes generated this gap?

Most themes have the "edit" link (for the story admin) in a separate line above the "read more" link. Could it be that?

yes yes, if it isn't your story to edit, the edit link may not show, but the break tag after still shows (cause: it is in the template file.).
you could probably throw that tag into the core, making it a part of the edit link so that it disappeares along with the edit link when necessary making it function like the gap between the intro and body texts on the readmore page. those 2 break tags are added to the variable before it is passed to the template file.

This is not what I am talking about. My Edit link is at the top by the way.
However, after some testing, I found out that the problem is only in the html mode when it is closed with a by the HTMLArea.
So I have to find some other solution. By deleting the last every time, or something else.
Thanks for the responses.
