Let me start by saying I have been using Geeklog for a long time now and I have never had any problems (that I could not figure out). But I recently setup v1.3.11 and I am receiving 404s when I try to access some pages. I am running Win 2000 server, IIS, PHP 4.3.10, and MySQL 4.0.23; with multiple GL sites on it. The IIS props and GL configs are setup the exact same for all the GL sites but i am only having problems with v1.3.11. Does IIS or GL need to be configd differently for 1.3.11? Is there any known issues? Any ideas, any help would be appreciated.

I'm not familiar with IIS, but I assume it records those 404s somewhere (i.e. something like Apache's error_log). I'd start there ...

It shouldn't. You might want to check your config.php and lib-common.php again. for me, my config is a little diff. I like to place everything to be place in public_html into a folder call "main" while the rest, i dump it in "conf"
It feels more tidy to me. Also in your config.php. you don't have to be using slashes? You need to change all to C:/abc/
Maybe you like to post here what pages exactly are returning 404. The good thing about GL is that it's most of the time the config.php and lib-common.php as everything loads paths relatively from there. Once you get the paths all right, all other stuffs will load properly.

I'd check to make sure the pages you are trying to access are actually there (i.e. you didn't get a corrupt or partial 1.3.11). 404 indicates the page isn't there, if there was a config error or PHP error I'd expect to see a 500 error.

Thanks for the responses. I reinstalled everything on a different machine and it seems to work now. 1.3.11 doesnt seem to have any issues with IIS.
