I have modified my calendar so users can only add events to the personal calendar. But I am unsure where to modify the following:
Read First
When submitting information for use on this site we ask that you follow the following suggestions...
Fill in all the fields, they're required
Provide complete and accurate information
Double check those URLs
Submit an Event
Submitting an event to Vent It Web Site will put your event on the master calendar where users can optionally add your event to their personal calendar. This feature is NOT meant to store your personal events such as birthdays and anniversaries.
Once you submit your event it will be sent to our administrators and if approved, your event will appear on the master calendar.
I would like to edit or remove(if possible) the 'READ FIRST' statement from the 'Submit an Event' form. I would also like to edit the 'Submit an Event' statement listed above, which is on the top of the 'Submit an Event' form.
Can anyone point me in the direction of where to edit these forms, and how to (if possible)remove the 'READ FIRST' statement only off the 'Submit an Event' form?
Regards
Kev

Hi,
As far as I see this one is called modular for all submissions in submit.php.
$retval .= COM_startBlock($LANG12[19])
. $LANG12[9]
. COM_endBlock();
So if you only want to filter it out for personal events, you would have to add an if logic here that checks on what kind of submission it is based on the type.
Best Regards,
Boris

I was able to edit the Submit Event text above the form, but stilll can't find the text for the 'read me first' block at the top of the submission page.
I only allow personal event submission by a user, all others are done by the administration, so this will be the only time the read me first text is used.
Can anyone suggest where I could find the READ FIRST text so I may edit it?
Regards
Kev
