I've got everything installed and running (almost)
I can not log in as admin. I worked through the FAQ of can't log in, and read other posts about this.
This is what it comes down to.
1. My register_globals = off
2.Called my web host, they will not changed it. They said for security reasons it must remain off.
3.Therefore I can not make register_globals = on in my php.ini file.
Now my question is:
Is there a way to get Login to work w/o register_globals = on?

using an htaccess file to simulate register globals=on is prolly the best way

going to give it a try, put the code in, drop the old db tables, and uploading everything again for a fresh install. I'm thinking the person who originally used the code snippet didn't drop their db tables before modifying config.php. Hopefully dropping the tables helped. So I'm upload it all again for a new install. The reason I'm wanting geeklog to work is that it's integrated with phpbb which I think will make this software surpass Expression Engine.
