I'm actually receiving the same error message with:
1146: Table 'blahblah-geeklog.gl_plugins' doesn't exist. SQL in question: SELECT pi_name FROM gl_plugins WHERE pi_enabled = 1
Can someone tell me how this can be resolved?
Thanks.

yes, i did try to anyway:
http://yourgeeklogsite/admin/install/install.php
(substituting my info, of course)
in doing so, received the message:
An SQL error has occured. Please see error.log for details.
In the error logs is where i found the gl_plugins error.

I'll post some more info in case it will help you to help me.
I downloaded Geeklog 1.3.11 tonight.
I performed the installation steps (to the best of my knowledge, correctly) and tried to run the install script.
Upon doing so, rec'd the message:
An SQL error has occured. Please see error.log for details.
Checked the error log and found:
1146: Table 'blahblah-geeklog.gl_plugins' doesn't exist. SQL in question: SELECT pi_name FROM gl_plugins WHERE pi_enabled = 1
I had created the MySQL DB as part of the installation instructions, but in checking it, the tables have not yet been created. I found where the solution for others seemed to be to disable the plugins by entering a 0(?), but as the tables don't exist yet, not sure how to do that...
Assistance appreciated.
