Hi all. I've got a question that I don't know if has been addressed before:
Has anyone ever considered adding plugin supprt in the What's New block for plugin comments? I'm extremely happy that plugins are now allowed to tack things onto the list, but I wonder if it would be possible for all comments to appear in the proper spot, like story and poll comments (provided support exists in the plugin).
I've considered this with Blaine's filemgmt plugin (1.3rc3), and I've considered turning the phplinks integration module into a plugin as well. Don't know if I'll have time for that, but it would have the same issue.
Obviously, if I really want it I could hack it back in just like the old days (filemgmt 1.2). But a more permanent solution would be better. And with all the other features that allow plugins to use the comment system in place, this would be a great addition.

Fantastisch, Dirk. I'll apply the patch tomorrow. Many thanks.
Any decision on if it will make it into the official branch in some form?

I haven't even looked at the code yet ...
If you have any feedback, please give it, preferably on the geeklog-devtalk list, since the author of the patch is active there, or directly on the feature request.
bye, Dirk
