Yes your favorite newb installation error. However I have an absolute path listed in config.php and it is correct (copied from the 'hint' in install.php starting with /home/content/......./html ) The host is GoDaddy, could that be an issue?
I searched all the other similar threads and they seem to all have been fixed by changing $_CONF['path'] to an absolute path. Mine already is, whats going on? this is driving me insane.

Well, it looks like the path is simply wrong.
The path would be correct if Geeklog's "system" and "admin" directories were on the same directory level. But they aren't (or at least they shouldn't).
My guess would be to take the "html" out of the $_CONF['path'].
