How can you set a template to default and not have it changed? Can you do that?

in your config.php
$_CONF['theme'] = 'TabularDynamics'; // default theme
$_CONF['allow_user_themes'] = 0;
those were the settings for themes.

Was config part of the installation? If it was I couldn't set anything because I had an automatic installation with Fantastico. That answer helps but it's still kind of vauge.

When you post new stories there are images inbedded in them like 'announcement' ect.

login as admin>Topic>TOpic you want to change. on the image field set it to blank.
other way is when you submit a story uncheck Show Topic Icon.
is that what you mean?
