why my backup db is 0 byte? i several backup it n still get 0 byte... wth is this?

hi i had the same prob. when doing a back up from the link in the admin sec. of my site , so i switched utilitys.
I have been using mysql's MySQL Administrator to do it and have had no problems with it

You need to setup the default path to:
$_DB_mysqldump_path = '/usr/bin/mysqldump'; // path to mysqldump binary
It's 99% that location of mysqldump in your case is different than the default config.php path.

One more thing. Looks like (from other posts of yours) that your GL site is on Windows. In this case look for mysqldump.exe.

I find it just as easy to go into phpmyadmin and do the backups there. Plus you can repair and optimize your tables at the same time.
Which just makes sense.

yeah.. i guess that my problem now... maybe my path isn't correct.. i use to dump it in .exe.. =p u r great.. thanx
