You're the ones 'powering' the swift boat website? You must be a little ashamed to take part in something that is degrading to veterans, especially the veterans of the Vietnam war. you just lost some business, and i'll make sure to spread the word.

Open source, meaning they will be able to use the software to distribute their information despite your best efforts to censor facts that you don't care to hear.

Geeklog is open source software and GPL. By it being GPL software, anybody can use it, and there can not be restrictions put on it.
You can't say one person can use it and another can not. Them using it does not mean that the Geeklog community supports one party, president, or another.
Open your mind, and come out of that black and white box of yours.

Gee you wouldn't be trying to do something Illeagal would you? Like hacking a website. I thought not. Opensource means Anyone can use it, doesn't matter if you disagree with them or not.

It doesn't matter whether the software is commercial or open source, if a guy wants to build terrorist bombs using notepad on a windows machine, Bill Gates has nothing to do with it.
I can't believe I'm responding to such stupidity.

Yea I'm hungry! Send it on over. I can always use a good sandwich meat to make my lunch with...
Nah...seriously, if they hadn't change their default password on the admin login...what good would it be to have a site up and running in the first place. Anyone and everyone (expecially hackers) would be in there messing it up and having fun re-writting your website to suit their own wants/needs.
Sometimes I can't beleave some of these threads!
you just lost some business, and i'll make sure to spread the word.
Hey guys, you are going to lose business/money on freely distributed software...oh wait, umm, nevermind.
This makes my head hurt, the logic this person exhibits.
I wonder if Mr. Anonymous Coward knows he/she can use GeekLog to setup their own website saying whatever they want about whatever politician they want

While i am not advocating anything illegal, I thought I would take a look at their site and see if they did anything stupid. They have a secure site.
I do not, however, think that comment spamming is against the law yet, I wish it was because my site has been hit very bad in the past.
This whole debacle, Swift Boat thing, has been captivating me lately, I can not stop watching coverage of it and all the interviews. If you are interested in this topic, check out http://factcheck.org. They go over facts in a wide variety of political ads in a truly nonpartisan method.
