After my hoster upgraded to PHP5 I have a strange problem with the links to plugins (including staticpages) in the
Admins Only menu block. There is no text (and no link) but in the
Admins Only section the number of items for that plugin is shown. In the
Admin Home page, the
Static Pages icon is shown OK and I can access the page OK from there.
I created a new install on my own machine with just geeklog (1.3.9sr1) and no extra plugins and this behaviour is the same for the staticpages plugin alone. Then I added the Chatterblock plugin ... which led to an extra blank line in the menu ... but in the
Admin Home, I then see 2
Chatterblock icons and both are links to the chatterblock admin page. The static page link has gone.
This continues as I add the Forum, File management, and FAQ plugin ... so that I end up with large gaps in the
User Functions menu and
Admins Only menu ... and 5 times the FAQ link in the
Admin Home (this was the last plugin I installed).
I have tried the clean theme as well, but the behaviour is the same.
This is what it looks like:

EDIT: they changed back to PHP4 for a bit and it works fine:

I didn't notice that the Static Pages plugin was affected, too, when you mentioned that on IRC yesterday ...
I can reproduce the problem on my PHP5 test system: The problem is in lib-plugins.php. A fix is
in CVS[*3] - feedback welcome.
bye, Dirk
Excellent. I just dropped that file in and all seems happy again, thanks
