I tried to add The Register's (www.theregister.co.uk) RSS feed to my geeklog, and got this error. This is the first RSS feed I've attempted to add. I'm using version 1.3.9 . PHP is not set to Safe.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: xml_parser_create() in /home/jbshultz/public_html/lib-common.php on line 3667
My programming skills are week at best, but this looks like it's trying to call some sort of global function - that doesn't appear to be there on my system.
System config:
Apache-AdvancedExtranetServer/2.0.47 (Mandrake Linux/6.3.92mdk) mod_perl/1.99_09 Perl/v5.8.1 mod_ssl/2.0.47 OpenSSL/0.9.7b PHP/4.3.2
Thanks for any help you can give - this is the first problem I've come across in this program, otherwise it's incredibly stable.

Your analysis is correct - it looks like the PHP on your system was not compiled with XML support. You will have to compile it with that option (or find a precompiled package that includes XML support).
