I have posted several stories using my "moderator" account on my website, with the options for owner (r/e), group (r), and all others (r). However, when I try to "edit" my post using the moderator account (the same acct that created the article), it tells me that I do not have the proper permissions to do this, and that this has been logged in the error file. Afterwards, I log in as the "admin" user to fix the posting. Is there a way that I can make the poster able to fix their own postings (especially when it is a moderator)?

I have tried this, unsuccessfully, still getting the same message. My settings for the "moderator" account are as follows:
ALLOW:All Users, Story Admin, Link Admin, Topic Admin, Event Admin, Poll Admin, Logged-in Users, Static Page Admin
DISALLOW:Root, Block Admin, User Admin, Group Admin, Plugin Admin, Mail Admin
By Allow, I mean I have a checkmark in the box and by Disallow, I mean the box is open. All of the groups settings are still at their default settings as I haven't went in and modified them.

But is that account a member of a group that has write access to the topic under which the story is posted?

My setting for each topic are as follows:
Owner:R/W Group:R Members/Anonymous:R
Ok, I see my mistake now. It works as long as the owner is that account, but not the admin acct, since it works on all new topics created under the "moderator" user. I should have thought of that and checked that. Thanks for your help.
