I downloaded the file "siteindex.php" from some link caught here in the forum. I was interested in the Google's chance to index pages contents other than the simple homepage, and I tought this file was intended for this purpose.
I installed the file in the server's root directory and created a link in the bottom zone of my website, editing the AxonzRed's footer.
If I click onto it...it shows what it is supposed to show, and I also edited it to sort the articles by date.
Now...I submitted again my website url on Google...two days ago...and then tried to search Google with a phrase from an "inside" comment. Result....nothing. Google seems not to know that page.
Is it possible? Or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance for the help.

P.S. - The site is http://www.tampano.com
Is siteindex.php working for me? How to check?

Two days ago? Aren't we a little bit impatient?
If this is an entirely new site, it can take weeks before it shows up in Google. Also, it's more important to have incoming links, i.e. that other sites - preferrably with a high rank in Google - will link to your site. Google still works mainly on the assumption that a site is important if many other sites link to it.
So that (IMHO, at least) is more important than technical details like the site index. But if you can, switch on the URL rewriting in config.php, as Google seems to prefer those URLs over the standard ones.
Oh, and if you have access to your webserver's logfiles, check to see if the GoogleBot has already visited your site and which pages it has indexed.
bye, Dirk
