GL newbie here. So, please bear with my ignorance a bit...
I've narrowed down my problem to configuring the path in config.php, and I can't seem to figure out the right way to give the path in a Windows install. I've tried many combinations of slashes ( both / and \\ ), but to no avail...
This is what I have now :
$_CONF['path'] = 'D:/project/geeklog-1.3.8-1.sr3/';
and this is the error I am getting :
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Warning: main(D:/project/geeklog-1.3.8-1.sr3/system/databases/mysql.class.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\\project\\geeklog-1.3.8-1sr3\\system\\lib-database.php on line 110
Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'D:/project/geeklog-1.3.8-1.sr3/system/databases/mysql.class.php' (include_path='.;d:\\project\\php'
in D:\\project\\geeklog-1.3.8-1sr3\\system\\lib-database.php on line 110
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've searched the other posts for similar problems, but most of the solutions are for UNIX / Linux. I couldn't find any solutions for similar problems on Windows.
Any help or pointers to help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your time.

Try without the dot between the "-1" and the "sr3" ...
And, btw, you should be using 1.3.8-1sr4 anyway.
bye, Dirk
Thanks a ton, Dirk, for such a quick reply.
That was the problem. Funny, and stupid, how many times I would have gone over those errors, and yet didn't spot that missing dot !!!
