I know this is more of an apache question than geeklog but it concerns my GL site.
When I untar geeklog in my /username/public_html directory, it creates a Geeklog_1.3.8x and public_html directory in that. So if I pull up the website, it would be www.mysite.com/geeklog/public_html/index.php. I see this isn't the case with other geeklog or portal sites. This site is pulled up as www.geeklog.net without displaying the public_html in the path.
My question is how to get my site to display www.mysite.com instead of www.mysite.com/geeklog/public_html/.
Any info would help.

The idea is to arrange things such that Geeklog's public_html directory is the same as your own public_html - that's why it carries that name.
There's also a lengthy paragraph in the installation instructions trying to explain all this ...

So if you're on Apache, basically anything that is in or would go in the public_html directory, you put in your htdocs directory.
