Hey folks,
I had a hardware failure and am recovering from it. Unfortunately I lost my GL installation (ironically discovered a few days ago that my backups were not working right, but had not fixed them yet ... doh!) but my DB is OK.
I had been running 1.3.8.sr2 and AFAIK 1.3.8.sr3 has the same DB format, so I'm installing 1.3.8.sr3.
If I am not mistaken, I do not have to run 'install.php', is this right? Or is there something to the install other than DB creation.
Anyway, my problem is that I've edited config.php and also lib-common.php to point to config.php, but when I surf to my page I get a blank page. If I set 'site_enabled' in config.php false, I do get the disabled message, however.
I checked through the FAQ and could not find anything which addresses this. Any idea?
I double and triple checked all my paths.

Yep.

Try to get an error message somehow. Set error_reporting, etc. in your php.ini so that they report errors, check your Apache error_log, ... It could be a lot of things, so try to narrow it down this way.
bye, Dirk

Well, I know that apache and PHP are working because geeklog websites that were on a different disk than the one that blew on me are still working.
I'll keep digging ...

Aha, got it!
I went into the db and manually set all my plugins to disabled and now I'm up again!
cheers,
