My stupid host is offering two type of servers: windows 2000 and linux. My website was, well still is, on a win 2000 server, but since they don't provide for win 2000 the graphic library Image Magick, I decided to migrate onto a linux server.
I have installed Gallery on the linux server and seems to be working. Now I wish to "move" the entire GEEKLOG folder from one server to the other, but I know that I will be able to change many paths here and there.
Is there any page where anybody goes through them step by step??? Is it possible at all?
NOTE: the mySQL server is somewhere else so neither I need to move it, nor I need to change any path for that
I would really appreciate your help.
P.S. I thought about another solution: would it be easier to install geeklog again on the linux server using a different database temporarily and then manually switch back to the existing database? Maybe by doing so I have less things to change???
Thanks
FG

Short answer: Yes, it is possible.
For the long answer, please use the search function, as this has been discussed before, e.g.
