I\'m trying to create a new theme with \"tabs\" at the top, and i want the tabs to be automagically updated depending on what the user clicks and what page they are on. ie:
[ home ] [ forums ] [ links ]
if the user is in the forums, that tab would be set to \"selected\" and have a coloured background while home and links would not. Is there anything i can use to build a theme like this?

As you probably know, you can embed PHP in the site\'s header. So you could check what the current URL is ($PHP_SELF
etc. may help) and emit different class names (or different pieces of HTML) for your links / tabs, depending on what the current URL is.
If you need longer pieces of PHP code, you should put them in the theme\'s functions.php file.
bye, Dirk

Thanks Dirk... I am using embeded PHP in the header for the menu, so that when a user logs in they will see preferences, and logout options... I\'m not all that familiar with PHP, so i guess i will be doing some research on $PHP_SELF and how to impliment it...
