Hello. I am trying to upload Geeklog to a site that has the following: (examples)
www.internetserviceproviders.us/nans
There are other folders in that same domain such as
www.internetserviceproviders.us/boo
www.internetserviceproviders.us/foo
I am trying to figure out my path
Please advise.

if you managed to upload it, go to the /admin/install/info.php
this works also if the path is not given in the config files.
there, you have a line which says :SCRIPT_FILENAME it will tell you something like
/home/user/naa/geeklog/public_html/admin/install/info.php
this means you path is
/home/user/naa/geeklog/
Hope this helps

... or you can simply call up the install script which will try to guess your path (and even if can\'t guess it, it will give you a hint that will help you figure the actual path out).

Quite possibly, yes...
You could email your provider support for information...

This looks like it\'s your Document Root, i.e. the equivalent of Geeklog\'s public_html directory (if your unsure, check with your hosting service).
So I would copy the contents of Geeklog\'s public_html directory into httpdocs, the rest of the files into vhost/nans.us. Your path settings would then be
$_CONF[\'path\'] = \'/usr/local/share/doc/vhost/nans.us/\';
$_CONF[\'path_html\'] = $_CONF[\'path\'] . \'httpdocs/\';
and the line to change in lib-common.php would be
require_once(\'/usr/local/share/doc/vhost/nans.us/config.php\');
This should help you figure things out even if you go for a slightly different setup.
bye, Dirk
P.S. The forum seems to eat my closing square brackets again. Hope you see what I mean nonetheless ...
