I have the stocks plugin and it *looks* fine on my Politics section, but when I try to remove or add stocks, nothing happens. I figure either a permissions problem, or I am somehow pointing at the wrong tables. Any idea how to troubleshoot?

A few questions....
Our you removing or adding stocks to the default stocks section (from the \"Stock Options\" link on the Admin Menu) or is this your stock options (for your user)?
Do you see any error messages in your /path/to/geeklog/logs/error.log file?
Have you looked at the stock tables to see if the data is being updated?
I can\'t repeat this problem on any of my sites.

I\'ve tried adding stocks to both user module and default module (as admin). I can see the stocks tables using phpMyAdmin and it looks to me as if no changes are being made to them. I\'ve tried giving the scripts enhanced permissions and i\'ve given the stocks user group more permissions. still nothing. I\'m stumped.

A few more details on what I see.
In my SQL database, the geeklog prefix is \"gl_\". In config.php I set the prefix accordingly. I have tables called ST_stocks and ST_user_stocks, but no gl_stocks or gl_user_stocks.
In the INSTALL file, it talks about the config.php file having parameters that control anonymous access, but for the life of me I don\'t see anything there. Does this sound right? My config file has 70 lines.
I don\'t understand line 56 of the config file, which says simply fill in the name of your tables... where?

You don\'t need to change the table prefix setting in config.php. It should read as follows:
$_ST_table_prefix = \'ST_\';

Thanks. I changed that back to \"ST\", but it didn\'t solve my problem. It still looks as if everything is working properly except that the \"add\" or \"remove\" queries are not making it from the web server to MySQL.
