Autotheme[*1] seems
kinda nifty too, wonder if there's any for Geeklog too? Autotheme is for phpNuke/
Post nuke only...for now...
"AutoTheme is an HTML Theme System for PostNuke and PHP-Nuke. The
current theme system usually requires you to be somewhat familiar with PHP and
the PostNuke or PHP-Nuke architecture. AutoTheme removes this complexity.
PostWrap is a PostNuke module that enables virtually any web content such
as HTML or scripts (home pages, galleries, shopping carts, php, perl, asp, etc.)
to be easily incorporated into your PostNuke site.
Also, NukeWrap (PostWrap) and NukeJump (PostJump) for PHP-Nuke."

PostNuke and PhpNuke have the html embedded right into their code making it tough for those who don't know php to create themes. Over time, a few different theming projects have sprung up one of which is Autotheme. I'm not sure if Autotheme created their own template system or use someone else's. They like the others use a browser interface so a person doesn't have to touch the template files. Is that what you are impressed with...the browser interface?? I kinda like the Nuclei Blocks myself because they allow unique placement of info on a page.
NukeWrap and PostWrap merely use an iframe tag to wrap a page into a theme. If the page is too long or wide you'll end up with two right and two horizontal scroll bars which make very tacky looking pages. You can wrap pretty much wrap anything in Geeklog too by simply using:
<?php
echo(COM_siteHeader()); // => this displays the top and left blocks
?>
>>> The page's content goes here
<?php
echo(COM_siteFooter('true')); // => this displays the bottom and right blocks.
?>
You don't end up with extra scroll bars, but you may have to deconflict template names and variables. If you use the external plugin, your content will be added to search and stats which neither NukeWrap and PostWrap do. Or you can use the iframe tag method like they do.
I'm not sure what NukeJump and PostJump do. Are they the ones which allow the admin to set another page other than stories as the homepage?? If so, that is a neat feature.
