Here's a few things I'd like to see. I'm sure a few of these have been mentioned before, so don't hate me for being repetitive.
1. Including a user-friendly interface for posting stories...something like UBB maybe. So centering, bolding, posting images, etc. would be accessible for the average user. Just like most of the forums out there, include a button that will insert the code for them.
2. Post Mode
lain Old Text- I think that this should include formatting...So if I skip lines when I type, the actual post should skip lines as well. I don't like how all the text is run together, ignoring spacing/paragraphs. Not sure if this is feasible, but I think it would work a lot better.
3. Topic Icons. I like the idea, but I think it should be a story icon instead. I use mainly one topic to post all of my stories, so the topic icon rarely applies to every story. I know most probably have sections based upon topic, but maybe make it an option to use a story or topic icon.
4. I know this has been said before, but I'll kick the dead horse. Time zone changes either on a user or sitewide scale.
I can't think of anything else at the moment. You guys have done such a good job on this. Keep it up.

- This one's already being done, check this story[*1]
- This was a bug in some old versions of Geeklog. It should be fixed in 1.3.5 (possibly earlier).
- You could use the image upload for that ...
- I don't think we will have this in 1.3.x. You'll have to wait for the rewrite ...
bye, Dirk

Thanks Dirk.
I'm definitely going to use the first one.
Here's an addition to it...Quoting in comments. I know you can already use threaded replies, but I think quoting would make it easier to follow as well, especially when the comments accumulate.
Quoting

Yes, I agree. Quoting would be nice. As would be the ability to actually see the story or comment you're commenting on when you're in the comment editor ...
bye, Dirk
