I need the ability to use the {layout_url} in the listitem.thtml template, yet I cannot. I thought it would be simple to add the parameter to the COM_makeList function, but I cannot figure out how.
Anyone familiar with how to do this?

It\'s as simple as adding
$list->set_var( \'layout_url\', $_CONF[\'layout_url\'] );
to function COM_makeList(). I\'d put it before the foreach().

k...either it is really late or I\'m just missing something: I made that change initially, it did not appear to work, so I posted here.
Changes made to my lib-common.php do not appear to be actually taking hold, despite saving and re-opening to see my very clear changes. This is appears to be non-GL related. Any ideas as to why my lib-common.php changes are not being seen by a browser?
(BTW, I emptied cache to ensure I was getting a fresh copy).

ok, it seems that the problem lies with the older stories function (which is where my modifications are taking place). Lists elsewhere now are able to take advantage of my mods to the template files. Lists in the Older Stories block, however, cannot. This is under 1.3.8rc1.

Heh...is that because it is not dynamic, but rather only updated at intervals. Now I see. Dump the contents in the db for that block and they should recreate....I shall see.
