Geeklog version 1.3.8 supports centerblocks now which developers can support. I documented how to do this with 1.3.8 and the current forum release on my site
here.
I will be releasing a new version of the forum in a few weeks that I am testing with 1.3.8.

Is it safe to assume that only the blocks that you add the following to:
\"Add the new centerblock function to the forum\'s functions.inc file - located in the plugins/forum directory. \" will be centered?
I only want the forum centered.
Thanks

Developers need to call their functions using a specific naming convention so only blocks designed to be centerblocks will be shown.
In the case of the forum for 1.3.8, you will control it from the Forum admin settings and be able toEnable or disable itHave it show before or after the feature story or even at the bottom if you like
Centerblocks are plugin specific (as in the new Staticpage plugin) and not controlled in the block editor.
